Workforce Development Program

Program Overview 

Participants will receive hands-on training in coffee preparation, espresso techniques, customer service, and sanitation through a combination of in-person and classroom instruction. The program runs for 2-8 weeks (depending on program), with participants learning 10-15 hours per week. In addition, participants may be compensated at minimum wage, giving them practical job experience while they train.

Residein Gwinnett Atlanta, DeKalb, Fulton, Rockdale, or Henry counties

Physically able to stand for 8 hours and lift 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations

Program Overview 

Our program provides hands-on training in coffee preparation, espresso techniques, customer service, and sanitation, which perfectly complements the foundational skills taught in culinary arts programs. This 8-week course, designed to fit into your existing schedule, includes 10-15  hours per week of in-person and classroom instruction. Students will also learn business management fundamentals that cover coffee shop operations, preparing them for employment or entrepreneurial endeavors in the coffee sector.
